Trainee Jan Luca

Welcome Jan Luca at proroll. On Thursday, August 15, he started his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk with us and is now part of the proroll family. We would also like to get to know our new member a little better:

Interview:

Why proroll of all things?

The decisive factor was my internship, which I liked very much. As a result, I also wanted to do the apprenticeship at proroll, as I was already able to get a small insight into the tasks and the company in general and therefore knew that it would suit me.

What's your first impression after 2.5 weeks?

So far I am very satisfied. I already have a lot of tasks, some of which I can do independently. At the moment I am working in the order centre. There I process orders and assist with shipping. I'm looking forward to working in the other departments.

What is different than expected?

During school hours I was usually home around 3 pm. At proroll I have fixed working hours until 5pm. Nevertheless, I enjoy my work more than school. I didn't necessarily expect that.

Many thanks to Jan Luca for the interview. We wish you a fantastic and educational time at proroll.

Training at proroll

As a medium-sized family business, it is important to us to train our junior staff ourselves. Through our qualified training in the commercial or logistical area and the resulting future employees, we set a healthy basis for a successful and constantly evolving future of our company. During the training, the trainees pass through the various company divisions/departments and gain an overview of the interrelationships and processes. It is particularly important to us to actively involve the trainees in the processes and structures and to enable them to work independently to some extent by giving them their own areas of responsibility (appropriate to the current department). In addition to the pure apprenticeship, it is also possible to complete a dual baccalaureate at proroll. In this case, the trainees learn, as usual, the practical contents in the company, while the theoretical basics of the vocational school are taught together with the contents of the Abitur.

In order to be able to get an idea of an apprenticeship in advance, we also offer internships in the various areas - because one thing is clear: very few students know straight away what they would like to do for a living later on.
